Board and Executive Remuneration Report 2022

Aon is Governance Institute of Australia’s official Remuneration Partner.

Aon and the Governance Institute of Australia are pleased to present to you the results of the 2022 Board & Executive Remuneration survey. The survey combines the annual report data for the ASX300 and individual company data submissions into a single source to conduct the various analyses presented in this report. This year, data from 528 organisations were included in this survey. ASX300 constituents comprised 55% of the overall survey population. In the 2021 report, the total number of participants were 413, of which 283 were part of the ASX300.

With a view to improve the reader experience this year, we have presented our findings in a slightly different format. The survey insights and the appendices are provided as two separate reports in order to make it more reader friendly.

Aon Executive Remuneration Survey

The Aon ExecutiveRemuneration Surveywas established in 2013 as a survey to collect, analyse and publish remuneration benchmarks for senior executives in large organisations. The survey focuses on the top 100 companies on the Australian Stock Exchange and large privately held organisations with total annual revenues of approximately $1 billion.
